Two men seriously injured in stabbing in Ritterhude
An 18-year-old man and a minor were seriously injured by stab wounds during a confrontation between two groups on Lindenstraße in Ritterhude/Platjenwerbe on Sunday evening. Police said one of the injured men was in life-threatening condition.
Police were alerted to the dispute at about 21:30. Initial findings indicate that the groups knew each other and had arranged to meet; an argument is believed to have escalated into a fight in which at least one knife was used. Three minor suspects were provisionally detained following a search. Investigations on suspicion of attempted manslaughter are continuing.
