Knife threat after altercation in Rietberg
During the night of 3 January, two men are alleged to have threatened several men with a knife and a broken bottle after an altercation on Rathausstraße in Rietberg. They then ran off with alcohol and cigarettes. After obtaining a search warrant that same night, police found the two suspects in a nearby flat and took blood samples. Police said the suspects were a 33-year-old man from Rietberg and a 35-year-old man. Investigations into the precise sequence of events are continuing, and police are seeking further witnesses.
