Two unknown men threaten man with knife in attempted robbery in Rheine
A 25-year-old man was the victim of an attempted street robbery in Rheine on Wednesday evening. Two unknown men approached him at Humboldtplatz; one allegedly bumped into him while the other tried to steal his backpack. When that attempt failed, police said one of the men produced a knife and threatened the 25-year-old. The men asked whether he had valuables and lightly struck him after he denied it. The victim fled, and police are investigating.
