Knife drawn during attack on spring festival visitors in Reutlingen
An altercation involving a minor and several people from another group occurred at the Bösmannsäcker festival grounds in Reutlingen on Friday evening. Police said the group attacked the minor and four companions with a baton and pepper spray. The minor was beaten, sprayed with irritant and kicked in the head after falling; another minor companion was struck on the back of the head with a baton. When someone in the group pulled a longer knife from their trousers, four of the youths fled towards the railway station. The injured minor reached a portable toilet and was taken to hospital. Several suspects were checked, and the investigation is continuing.
