Man arrested after knife robbery in Remscheid
A 35-year-old man is suspected of threatening a 59-year-old employee with a knife at a jewellery shop on Alleestraße in Remscheid on 10 April. He demanded cash and gold jewellery. After the employee initially refused, the man allegedly threatened him again and pointed to a pistol in his waistband. He took cash from the till and several pieces of jewellery. Following a struggle, the employee forced him out of the shop, where police arrested the suspect. The stolen property and the weapon were seized, and the detainee was due to be brought before a judge.
