Teenager injured with stabbing instrument in Regensburg
A teenager was injured in the abdomen with an as-yet unidentified stabbing instrument in Regensburg on the evening of 5 April. Before the attack, he had offered help to a distressed young woman behind a supermarket on Von-Seeckt-Straße and then became involved in an altercation with two men.
One of the men is alleged to have taken an object from his jacket and stabbed the teenager in the abdomen. The assailant then fled. The injured teenager waited for emergency services at a parcel locker and was taken to hospital, where cuts to his abdomen were found; his life was never in danger. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of attempted homicide and are seeking witnesses.
