Three men slightly injured in altercation in Recklinghausen
Three men sustained minor injuries in a dispute in central Recklinghausen on Tuesday evening. According to initial findings, a 21-year-old man became involved in an altercation with two men, one of whom allegedly attacked him with a machete. When a 21-year-old and a 47-year-old came to help him on Dortmunder Straße, the two suspects allegedly attacked them as well with a machete and a sword. A 34-year-old suspect was detained shortly afterwards on Jahnstraße and held overnight, while the second suspect fled. The sword was seized and the investigation is ongoing.
