Man seriously injured in Potsdam knife attack
According to police, a 42-year-old man was injured in the upper body with a knife in Potsdam's Am Stern district. He was seriously injured, taken to hospital and underwent emergency surgery; police said his life was not in danger. A 36-year-old man is considered a suspect and remains at large. Special units entered his apartment but did not find him there. Police also deployed a tracking dog during the search in the city and continue to investigate the background of the incident.
