Five injured in altercation at Strecktalpark
Five people were injured in a fight at Strecktalpark in Pirmasens on 8 August. Initial police findings indicate that eight to ten people had become involved in a dispute, allegedly over relationship issues. One man sustained knife cuts to his arm and back; he went to hospital before police arrived and was admitted for inpatient treatment. The other injured people suffered minor to moderate injuries. One of the offenders also used pepper spray during the altercation. Doctors said the man injured with the knife was not in life-threatening condition.
