Woman dies after stabbing in Pirmasens
A 43-year-old man is accused of inflicting several knife wounds on his 52-year-old wife in their shared home in Pirmasens late in the morning of 18 May. The woman subsequently died from the injuries. According to preliminary post-mortem findings, the stabbing led to internal and external bleeding and acute cardiovascular failure. The suspect was arrested near the scene and remanded in custody after appearing before a judge. The investigation is continuing.
