Woman critically injured with kitchen knife in Pemfling
According to police, a 40-year-old woman was injured with a kitchen knife in Pemfling on 22 May. Her 52-year-old partner is suspected of inflicting several stab wounds to her chest. She was flown to hospital by rescue helicopter and was in life-threatening condition when receiving medical care.
The suspect reportedly left the scene by car in an unknown direction. Criminal police are investigating an attempted homicide and are searching for him. Investigators are examining the case as an incident connected to the relationship and currently see no specific danger to the public.
