Man threatens children with knife at playground in Peine
A man allegedly intimidated several children with a knife at a playground on Herrenfeldstraße in Peine at about 16:45 on 20 August. Police said the man stated that he had been annoyed by the children's behaviour and wanted to intimidate them with the knife he was carrying. During a search, officers located the 49-year-old man nearby. Police seized the knife, opened an investigation for making threats and issued him with an order to leave the area. No one was injured.
