Man allegedly attempted stabbing with pointed object in Passau
Two men became involved in a dispute over money demands in Passau on Thursday evening, followed by a physical altercation. Police said the 23-year-old allegedly tried to injure the 29-year-old with a pointed object. The other man was not injured.
The suspect was provisionally detained after a police search operation. An investigating judge issued a detention order the following day, including on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm, and the man was then taken to a correctional facility. Criminal police continue to investigate.
