Police search for suspected knife extortionist in Parchim
Police are searching for an unidentified man suspected of repeatedly threatening a child with a knife and forcing the child to hand over cash in Parchim during the spring. Investigators say the man waited for the child on the way home from school near the sports hall on Fischerdamm and led the child to a secluded location. The child is said to have handed over several hundred euros on multiple occasions. Police released a composite image under a court order and are seeking information.
