Woman seriously injured in Pappenheim attack with pointed object
A 27-year-old woman was seriously injured in Pappenheim on Sunday. According to the current investigation, a 28-year-old acquaintance is suspected of having attacked her earlier in an apartment with a pointed object. A witness found the woman bleeding in Deisingerstraße at about 11:30 a.m. and called emergency services. Officers located the suspect near the scene and provisionally arrested him. The injured woman was taken to hospital and was reported to be in stable condition. Prosecutors applied for a remand order, and the investigation is ongoing.
