Two men stabbed during confrontation at Lippesee
During a physical confrontation between two hostile groups at Lippesee in Paderborn on the evening of 27 June, two men were injured by knife wounds. A 22-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries and a 31-year-old man was seriously injured; both were stabilised after emergency surgery and have since left hospital. A 40-year-old security employee was also injured by a shot from an irritant projectile device. Prosecutors now classify the case as attempted homicide. The investigation continues, and police are seeking photographs and videos from the event site.
