Woman remains in critical condition after stabbing injuries in Paderborn
A 27-year-old woman sustained life-threatening stabbing injuries in the sports hall of an adult education centre in Paderborn on 8 October. Her condition stabilised after emergency surgery, but police said she remained in acute danger and in an induced coma.
A judge remanded a 25-year-old urgent suspect in custody on 9 October on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm. Investigators secured the suspected weapon. Police assess the incident as an isolated attack, while the motive remains unclear.
