Man points knife toward police officers in Osnabrück
A man held a knife toward police officers at the Kreishaus bus stop in Osnabrück-Nahne. A bus driver had previously called emergency services after seeing the man holding a knife and making conspicuous movements on a public bus. Passengers left the bus unharmed before officers encountered him at the stop. After repeatedly ordering him to drop the knife and attempting to calm him, officers subdued the man and secured the weapon. The 35-year-old was uninjured and taken to a clinic; no other person was harmed.
