Man critically injured in knife attack in Osnabrück
A 34-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries in a knife attack on Schlosswall in Osnabrück on Saturday evening. According to current findings, he had previously become involved in a verbal argument with an unidentified man. The man is alleged to have used pepper spray before stabbing him with a knife. Helpers and police officers provided initial treatment at the scene before the injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance. The offender fled via Schlossstraße toward the Wüste district, and the initial search was unsuccessful.
