Man threatens police officers with knife in Olpe
A 34-year-old man is alleged to have threatened police officers in Olpe with a knife on Tuesday afternoon. Officers had initially been called to his home because he was reportedly causing a disturbance there. Police said he threatened them with the knife when they arrived and then walked toward the town centre. Officers subdued him on Martinstraße. The man sustained minor injuries in the process. Police believe he was experiencing a psychological crisis, and he was taken to a psychiatric facility. According to the available information, no third parties were harmed.
