Witness threatened with knife in Oldenburg park
A youth allegedly threatened a 28-year-old passer-by with a knife in Oldenburg's Eversten Holz after the man intervened to help a child. Police said the child had previously been surrounded by a group of youths. The group allegedly took and destroyed the child's phone, while one female youth allegedly kicked the child in the stomach. When the witness stepped in, the suspects fled. During the pursuit of one youth, that suspect allegedly pulled a knife and threatened the man. Police are investigating suspected assault, criminal damage and threats.
