Attempted knife robbery in Oldenburg
A 71-year-old woman was allegedly attacked on an unpaved footpath between Feldahornweg and Barschweg in Oldenburg-Ofenerdiek at about 2:35 p.m. on 31 January. An unidentified suspect allegedly pushed her to the ground from behind and demanded cash while displaying a knife. As she was not carrying money, he fled on foot towards Barschweg. Police said the woman suffered a rib bruise.
