Store detective threatened with knife in Offenburg
A store detective was threatened with a knife after a suspected robbery-related theft of perfume from a department store at Lindenplatz in Offenburg. The detective had followed two men as they left the store and detained one of them on Lange Straße. During a struggle, the detective sustained minor injuries. Two further people arrived, sided with the detained man and threatened the detective with the knife. The detective withdrew and alerted police; criminal investigators are handling the case.
