Suspected knife robbery in Offenbach leaves two men injured

A 23-year-old man and a 30-year-old man suffered superficial cuts to their hands and buttocks in a suspected robbery in Offenbach. Early on Thursday, October 15, 2026, they encountered two men near Kettelerstraße who, according to initial findings, held knives in front of them and demanded money. Police believe the knives were also used, although the precise sequence of events remains unclear. The suspects allegedly fled at first. Officers provisionally detained one 21-year-old while responding; a police officer and her dog later found the second suspect, also 21, near the Main riverbank. A search of him yielded cash believed to have been stolen. Proceedings were initiated against both men.
