Passenger threatens Uber driver with folding knife in Offenbach
An unidentified passenger allegedly threatened an Uber driver with a folding knife in Offenbach after the driver demanded the outstanding fare of eleven euros. The ride ended at about 0:45 on Wednesday on Bismarckstraße near the main railway station. The passenger had initially said he would try to change money with a taxi driver, but did not return to the waiting driver. When the driver approached him again about the payment, police said the man pulled the knife and threatened him with it. He then fled on foot towards the main station; criminal police are investigating and seeking witnesses.
