Passer-by injured in alleged knife attack in Offenbach

A 32-year-old passer-by was injured on Monday morning at the entrance to a clinic on Sprendlinger Landstraße in Offenbach. According to the investigation so far, an unknown man blocked his path and attacked him for reasons that remain unknown. The injured man told police that the attacker used a knife; his jacket was damaged and his left upper arm required medical treatment. The suspect then ran towards a petrol station and continued onto Geishornstraße. Police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm and are seeking witnesses.
