Knife threat after confrontation in Oelde
A confrontation occurred on Zur Axt street in Oelde on Monday evening after an earlier dispute. Two men said they had been followed from Clarholz by several people after one of them had allegedly been assaulted there.
In Oelde, the other car's occupants allegedly blocked their vehicle from continuing. Once the people involved were in the street, the pursuers were alleged to have fired a shot and made a threat with a kitchen knife. While attempting to turn around, the driver struck a tree and the alleged attackers' car, after which they fled. Police located the former partner of one of those involved and three possible suspects and opened investigations.
