Man threatens passers-by with kitchen knife in Oberstdorf
On Monday evening, a man threatened and insulted several passers-by with a kitchen knife on Sachsenweg in Oberstdorf. At about 19:20, he initially ran away; no one was injured. Police officers found and restrained him nearby. After officers determined that he was significantly intoxicated and posed a danger to others, he was taken to a psychiatric hospital. Police are investigating on suspicion of threats and insults.
