Man remanded in custody after alleged knife injury in Nusplingen

A 35-year-old man allegedly seriously but not life-threateningly injured a 40-year-old acquaintance with a knife early on 6 May at shared worker accommodation on the market square in Nusplingen. Investigators said he also allegedly struck the man. A witness called emergency medical services several hours later, and the injured man was admitted to hospital after initial treatment. Police arrested the suspect at the scene and seized two knives, one of which may have been the weapon used. Following a hearing before a judge, he was remanded in custody; investigators are continuing to examine the motive.
