Woman dies after knife attack at Nuremberg gaming venue
A 35-year-old woman died on 19 July after an altercation at a gaming venue on Essenweinstraße in Nuremberg. A witness reported an argument between a man and a woman at about 11:15. When police arrived, they found a 45-year-old man armed with a knife and overpowered him. Officers then discovered the woman seriously injured and began resuscitation measures together with an emergency doctor. She died at the scene. The suspect was provisionally detained, and prosecutors applied for detention. The circumstances of the killing remain under investigation.
