Knife threat and stabbing attempt in Nuremberg flat
Several people became involved in a dispute in a flat in Nuremberg's Altenfurt district during the night into Tuesday. According to police, a 27-year-old suspect took a knife at around 1 a.m., allegedly threatened his 23-year-old flatmate, and made a stabbing motion towards the flatmate's upper body without hitting him.
A 24-year-old visitor intervened and suffered a superficial hand injury. Based on the information available at the time, hospital treatment was not required. Police officers found all those involved at the flat and calmed the situation; the suspect is under investigation, including on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm and making threats.
