Man attacked with large knife in Nuremberg
An unidentified man is alleged to have swung a large knife toward a 29-year-old man's neck in Nuremberg during the night of 15 November. The man avoided the blow at about 22:40 on Johannisstraße near Helmstraße and was not injured.
Police said he had previously been approached by several people. During the ensuing scuffle, he lost his jacket and backpack, fled, and later found that his jacket and mobile phone had been stolen. The group escaped, and the homicide squad is investigating on suspicion of attempted homicide.
