Man injured with knife at barbecue party in Northeim
A 40-year-old man was injured in the leg with a knife after a dispute at a private barbecue party on Matthias-Grünewald-Straße in Northeim on 24 May 2025. He sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital after receiving initial medical treatment. The 35-year-old suspect initially left the scene on foot. Police later found him in open countryside between Northeim and Sudheim and arrested him without resistance. He is under investigation on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
