Man attacks with knife at Nienburg railway station
On 23 July 2025, a 33-year-old man took a 62-year-old man's mobile phone from its bicycle holder inside Nienburg railway station. The owner took the phone back, after which an argument and minor physical confrontation followed. According to police, the suspect drew a knife and approached the man. The victim used a jacket to fend off the attack and was not injured. Proceedings for attempted dangerous bodily harm were initiated against the 33-year-old.
