Woman seriously injured in knife attack in Niederkrüchten-Brempt
A 45-year-old woman was seriously injured in Niederkrüchten-Brempt on Saturday evening. According to prosecutors and police, her 47-year-old separated husband approached her on Zur Brücke/Kahrstraße and unexpectedly attacked her with a knife. The woman was injured in her car and is being treated at a hospital in Mönchengladbach. A homicide investigation unit has been set up, and investigators are examining the motive.
