Two men seriously injured in knife attack in Neuss
Two men aged 22 and 21 are alleged to have been seriously injured with a knife in a green space on Deutsche Straße in Neuss during the night of 8 February. Police and prosecutors said a 22-year-old man attacked them during a physical altercation. The injured men were receiving inpatient treatment and were no longer in danger of dying. The suspect was arrested later that day. A judge ordered pre-trial detention on suspicion of attempted manslaughter, while the homicide squad continues to investigate the sequence of events and background.
