Man provisionally detained after knife attack in Münster
Police provisionally detained a 40-year-old suspect after a physical altercation at Hamannplatz in Münster-Coerde. According to initial findings, he allegedly inflicted life-threatening injuries on a 62-year-old man with a knife during the dispute at about 12:30 p.m. on 7 September. A 74-year-old witness who came to the injured man's aid was also hurt. The 62-year-old was taken to hospital. A homicide unit is investigating the precise sequence of events and the background.
