Man threatens flatmate with knife in Munich
Following a verbal argument in their shared Munich flat, a 19-year-old man threatened his 40-year-old flatmate with a knife. The 40-year-old took the knife away and restrained him. During this, the 19-year-old bit the man on the upper arm before leaving the flat. Police later found the 19-year-old in the building's courtyard. He had minor cuts to one hand, received outpatient hospital treatment and was then placed in a psychiatric hospital because of his dangerous behaviour and a psychological crisis. He was reported for bodily-harm offences and making threats, and criminal police are continuing the investigation.
