Man provisionally detained after attack with knife-like object in Munich
A 24-year-old man suffered several bleeding injuries to his abdomen during a physical altercation involving several people at Lerchenauer Straße and Schleißheimer Straße in Munich. Witnesses reported that a 23-year-old struck toward his abdomen with a knife-like object. The injured man was taken to hospital. Police initially separated two men who had been attacking each other, and two further suspects were stopped during a search. The 23-year-old was provisionally detained but released the following day on the order of the public prosecutor's office. The exact sequence of events remains under investigation.
