Man seriously injured in knife attack in Munich
A 26-year-old man was seriously injured in Munich's Ludwigsvorstadt district on Saturday evening. According to police, three unidentified attackers approached him on Schillerstraße, threatened him with a knife and demanded his mobile phone. When he fled, the group allegedly pursued and repeatedly attacked him; two further attackers later joined them. He sustained multiple stab wounds to his torso and legs and was taken to hospital. His injuries were not life-threatening, and he has since left hospital. The attackers stole a small amount of cash and fled before they could be apprehended.
