Man injures passenger with pocketknife on Munich underground train
A 36-year-old man was injured in the upper body with a pocketknife on a U6 underground train towards Garching-Forschungszentrum on 10 February. According to police, he had previously argued with a 34-year-old man, and the dispute developed into a physical attack. The 34-year-old left the train at Freimann underground station and was arrested there with the help of witnesses. The pocketknife was secured. The injured man initially received medical care and was taken to a Munich hospital for further treatment. A judge was due to decide on custody.
