Employee injured in struggle after knife threat in Munich

A 23-year-old suspect is alleged to have concealed merchandise at a clothing store in Munich's pedestrian area on 27 January. After a store detective took her to an office, she is said to have pulled a large knife and threatened several employees present there. While heading for the exit, she held the knife in front of her and made stabbing motions, but did not attack employees or customers. A 19-year-old employee subdued her near the exit with assistance from other employees and suffered a minor hand injury during the struggle. Police provisionally arrested the woman.
