Man with knife found after dispute at underground station
Police were deployed to Ramersdorf at about 10:20 p.m. on 6 January after a report of people arguing in the street. At Innsbrucker Ring underground station, officers found a 41-year-old man holding a knife and a 33-year-old woman. The man dropped the knife when instructed, and officers also seized an irritant spray device. The two said they had previously been involved in a physical altercation with an unknown group of more than five people and had been injured. The man was taken to hospital and the woman sought medical treatment herself. Underground services on lines U2 and U5 were suspended during the operation, while the investigation continues.
