29-year-old critically injured with stabbing weapon in Mülheim an der Ruhr
A 29-year-old was critically injured in Mülheim's old town on 30 January. According to police, he first became involved in a verbal argument with an unidentified man on Sandstraße at around 19:25. Between Schreinerstraße and Eppinghofer Straße, the man allegedly seriously injured him with a stabbing weapon before fleeing.
Police found the injured man, provided initial aid and he was taken to hospital after receiving medical treatment at the scene. The suspect was reportedly accompanied by another person, and an initial search was unsuccessful. A homicide investigation team has been established, while detectives secured evidence and are seeking witnesses.
