Man uses knife to fend off attempted extortion near Molbergen
Two unknown men allegedly faked a vehicle breakdown near Molbergen on 3 September and caused a 25-year-old driver to stop. After the man opened the passenger-side window, one of the men demanded money while the other tried to open the driver's door. A struggle followed when one attacker reached through the window into the car. The 25-year-old used a small knife to fend off the attack, started his vehicle and drove away. He sustained minor injuries to his hand and face, while the two men fled.
