Man critically injured after knife attack in Minden
A 23-year-old man was critically injured in a knife attack in Minden. Several perpetrators are alleged to have sought him out and attacked him outside a fast-food restaurant on Lübbecker Straße later that evening. At around 23:45, the injured man called emergency services himself from a property on Askanierweg. Police found multiple stab and cut wounds, and emergency personnel provided emergency medical treatment before taking him to hospital.
Investigators say another physical confrontation had occurred earlier. At around 22:00, a 27-year-old man was seriously injured and admitted to hospital. Police have set up a homicide investigation unit and are investigating attempted homicide.
