Three men remanded after knife attack in Minden
A 23-year-old man suffered life-threatening stab wounds in Minden on 8 October and called emergency services himself. He was taken to hospital and was out of danger only after emergency surgery. Investigators suspect that a 29-year-old man inflicted the wounds with a knife. Two other men are suspected of acting as accomplices. Earlier, at around 10 p.m., the injured man is alleged to have seriously injured a 27-year-old man in the latter's home; that man was also taken to hospital the same night. On 4 December, the three suspects appeared before a judge, who ordered pre-trial detention on allegations of joint attempted manslaughter in combination with dangerous bodily harm.
