Passenger threatens driver with knife at Michendorf-Nord service area

A 26-year-old passenger allegedly threatened the driver of a minibus with a knife at the Michendorf-Nord service area. During a break, the driver had told the man to leave the ride-sharing group because he appeared to be intoxicated. Police said the passenger then pulled out a knife and threatened to injure the driver, but did not use it.

Police seized the knife and opened an investigation on suspicion of making threats. A breath alcohol test showed a reading of just under two per mille. The man was released at a nearby railway station after police measures were completed.
