Man threatens security staff with knife at Merseburg accommodation facility
A 56-year-old man allegedly behaved threateningly towards security staff while carrying a knife at an accommodation facility on Hallesche Straße in Merseburg during the early hours of Thursday. The incident occurred at around 12:10 a.m. in a corridor of the facility. According to police, no one was injured. Officers seized the knife, opened an investigation on suspicion of making threats and issued the man with an exclusion order, which he complied with voluntarily.
