Man threatens passer-by with knife in Mengen
An unidentified man allegedly threatened a passer-by with a knife outside a grocery store in central Mengen on Tuesday evening. According to police, he demanded cigarettes. The victim was able to flee unharmed because he did not have any cigarettes with him. Criminal police are investigating an attempted robbery and are seeking witnesses.
